The Rousham Extension

Mr and Mrs Ware had only recently moved into their brand new detached home when we first met them. They loved the area, and the upstairs of their new home, but felt that the ground floor was typical of many new builds, a bit bland, and lacking in really useable space for a young family.

We designed a Rousham style room for them with a stunning single sheet of glass in the gable end above the Bi-fold doors. This really has added a ‘wow’ factor to the room and has made the most of the view of the lovely mature trees at the end of their garden. This new space has absolutely transformed what was a cramped kitchen/diner into a kitchen/family room with loads of space for cooking, entertaining, play and relaxation. Some creative up and down lighters to the sides of the bi-folds finish off what is a really beautiful addition to the property. As you can see from the comments below from our lovely clients, they are over the moon!
