Beautiful ‘Flat White’ Style Extension

Over the years, we have had the pleasure of designing and building hundreds of stunning extensions, so as the lockdown continues, we are carrying on looking back at a few of our previous projects. This week, we are taking it back to 2017, where we had the enjoyment of creating a beautiful new extension for a lovely family in Bedfordshire.

What Did Oliver James Achieve?

In 2017, we were contacted by a lovely family who found out about us through our stellar recommendations. After browsing through our fabulous range of extension designs, the couple selected our stunning ‘Flat White’ style room. This kickstarted our design process, and we began creating the dream extension that the growing family wanted. The design included two enormous roof lanterns, completed with two large sets of jumbo sliding doors. This provided the family with a lovely entrance into their garden, perfect for those summer months. Additionally, these features create a spacious and light feel to the new extension.

The couple also asked us to incorporate a fireplace to add a contemporary and modern centrepiece to their new space. Furthermore, to make the home more family central, we added a breakfast bar opening which linked the existing kitchen into the new room.

Finally, to create a transition from the inside to the outside, we created a beautiful walled patio. The couple chose a stunning porcelain tiling, along with matching bricks for the walls surrounding the patio. When viewing the pictures below, you can see the effect the tiling and how it seamlessly blends the home into the garden for an incredible finishing touch.
