Bespoke Kew Style Room
As we continue to spend our days in lockdown, we are digging back into our archives to showcase some of the stunning projects our teams have completed over the years. This week, we revisit a Kew style home extension that we completed seven years ago!
What Did Oliver James Achieve?
Back in 2013, we created this beautiful “KEW” style room for the lovely Mr and Mrs Flint, who wanted to enhance their property. The space featured a vaulted ceiling, which was equipped with two solar-powered Velux windows, along with French doors to the front elevation. Together, these would ensure that the clients could enjoy a bright and airy room all year through.
To complete the room, a log burning stove was added, giving the home a cosy feel during the cold winter months. We also created a novel opening from the room to the kitchen, which is an excellent option for those clients that want the space to connect, without being fully open-plan.
The before and after pictures demonstrate what a difference this new space has made to the whole ground floor of the property. To this day, we couldn’t be happier with the results of this project!
