We recently completed a project for the wonderful Mr and Mrs Pope who own a beautiful property in Leighton Buzzard. We worked with them to design a space brimming with natural light, perfect for socialising with their loved ones, ready for when the lockdown ends.
What Did Oliver James Achieve?
Mr and Mrs Pope’s modern detached property was generously proportioned, but having a dining room table in the kitchen made the space a little cramped. They are a really sociable couple and (lockdown permitting) love to entertain their family and friends. The layout of their home, didn’t really accommodate this, so they wanted to talk to us about creating a new space for relaxing, enjoying their garden and entertaining.
We created a beautiful new room for them, complete with bi-folding sliding doors and an absolutely enormous picture window across the entire front elevation, which really brings the garden into the room. A vaulted ceiling and two solar-powered Velux roof lights, bathe the whole room in natural light, and the open access to the existing kitchen creates precisely the space they had dreamed of. We were so thrilled both with the result and by their delighted reaction!
