Modernising A Forever Home

Grand Plans Brought To Life

Mr and Mrs Watts had just moved into their forever home when the team first met them in December 2019. The house is a beautiful older property with a huge garden, but it had been unloved and unmodernised for many years. Our client had grand plans for their new home, and we have had the pleasure of working with them to bring their vision to life.

What Did Oliver James Achieve?

The client wanted to incorporate a new kitchen into their project, so the team began working on the enormous space back in June. This was more than 70 square metres, so required a lot of planning and organising the ensure the client’s vision was captured.

While this project is still underway, the team have done an amazing job at helping the client to visualise their properties potential and lay down the foundations to begin the project. Currently, the team has fitted a massive specially engineered roof lantern and a stunning kitchen that has been handmade by a local joinery company. The lantern measures at 4 x 5m, making it the biggest lantern our supplier has ever made; in fact, there are only two places that can make this lantern at all! For this reason, it has to be specially calculated and designed due to it being so big and heavy. On completion of this project, there will be a new water system, air conditioning and incredible lighting to accentuate the beautiful space.

Along with designing and sourcing the client’s dream kitchen, the team has also laid the foundations, constructed the walls, removed the rear wall of the property and are currently completing the new enormous roof.

Keep an eye on this space for updates on the completed conversion and complete kitchen renovation!
